Dr. Lucy Tan is a clinical psychologist in both public and private health sectors, with clients across the lifespan. She is also a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland, an accredited clinical supervisor in Australia and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologists Association. Her clinical experience includes medico-legal, mental health and trans-cultural mental health specialities. She is an active scientist-practitioner and has published in areas of child and adolescent mental health clinical domain. She also supervises postgraduate students in clinical psychology programme. Dr Tan has been a recipient of several state, national and international awards. The success of her programme of research has won her several coveted awards including The Australian Prime Minister Endeavour Award. Dr Tan graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland; Massey University, New Zealand, and completed her doctorate in Psychological Medicine from University of Queensland. Diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders in children and adolescents is her prime specialty over the past 25 years. She continues to author, lecture, and present both nationally and internationally.
