She is a young researcher of “Clemente Estable” Biological Research Institution in Uruguay. He obtained a Master’s degree in Biotechnology (2011) and Ph.D.’s degree in Microbiology (2015) from the Universidad de la República, Uruguay. Their research is focus on development of industrial strains, both E. coli and Saccharomyces, with focus on second generation biofuel production. Using metagenomic approach their research group is looking for novel enzymes related to cellulases, lipases and xylanases. She participated as poster presenter and oral speaker as many workshops and international conferences related to Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology in US, México, Chile and Uruguay. she has a number of publications in international journals and hopping to publish more articles in ISI journals.
