Francesco Borgia graduated with first class honours in Medicine at University of Messina on 1995; he got the specialty in Dermatology and Venereology on 1999 and the Ph.D. degree in Morphological Sciences in 2002. He is Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Venereology of University of Messina (Italy) since 2011 (School of Medicine and Surgery, School of Sports Medicine, Resident School of Dermatology and Venereology, Paediatrics). His research interests include psoriasis and autoimmune and inflammatory skin diseases, photodermatology, with particular attention to photodynamic therapy in Non Melanoma Skin Cancer and inflammatory diseases, pediatric dermatology, dermoscopy, trichology. He received several national and international scientific awards. Referee of many international medical journals. Author of several articles and reviews on international journals and chapters in books in the field of dermatology and general medicine.
