Dr. Altintas received her medical degree from the University of Uludag Medical Faculty (2004-2010), followed by her residency in neurology from the University of Bezmialem Vakif Medical Faculty (2011-2015). Then she completed her compulsory heath service at Bor State Hospital in Nigde. She works as a neurologist at Bor State Hospital since 2015. She is board certificated in neurology by Board Committee of the Turkish Neurology Society.

Her research interest lie in the area of vascular neurology, neuroprotection, blood brain barrier and epigenetic modulation in CNS and her projects have been guided by ischemic stroke treatments and experimental model.
