Mohamad Al-Tannir earned his Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan and Residency in Public Health from The University of Maryland. His research experience covers 22 years across different settings including academic institutions and tertiary care centers. His focus is clinical trials, with special interest in multicenter international studies and community health research. His 52 peer reviewed international publications covered many areas in clinical research. He was the head of clinical research unit from 2003-2008 at Makassed General Hospital, Beirut/Lebanon and founded the Institutional Review Board according to international ethical regulations. Currently the chairperson of clinical and translational research of King Fahad medical city research center at /Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and an active member at KFMC IRB since 2008. Dr.AlTannir is an organizer and main speaker in local, regional and international conferences and courses covering main aspects in clinical and applied research, epidemiology and critical literature appraisal.
