Dr. Ninh Doan, MD, PhD is currently a resident physician in the Department of Neurosurgery, Medical College of Wisconsin. He attended the University of California, Davis, where he obtained a bachelor degree in Biochemistry. He then moved to Chicago to attend the medical scientist-training program (MSTP) at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he received his combined MD/PhD degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics.
Ninh Doan, research grants focus on targeting acid ceramidase as a new treatment for brain tumors. His other research areas include neuro-oncology, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and spinal degenerative diseases.
