Biography

Dr. Morteza Entezari is professor of Ophthalmology, Emam Hossein and Torfe medical centers, Shahid Beheshti University of medical science. As a medical residents and vitreoretinal fellowship attended Labbafinejad medical center, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science. He is the chief of Vitreoretinal Department in Emam Hossein Hospital and educational assistant of ophthalmology. He is member of research committee of ophthalmic department. He published more than 35 articles in international ophthalmological journal. His H-index is twelve in Google Scholar. His publications include 2 books. He has practiced ophthalmology in connecticut for 22 years, during which time he has been actively training ophthalmology residents and vitroretinal fellowship in shahid Beheshti University of medical science and has been presented with the teaching and research Awards. He had 3 oral and 4 poster presentations in annual meeting of American Academy of ophthalmology. He had 5 oral and 7 poster presentation in European society of ophthalmology. He had 3 oral and 5 poster presentations in world congress of ophthalmology. He had multiple presentations in European vitreoretinal seminars and multiple presentations in Annual Iranian congress of ophthalmology. He is reviewer of Indian journal of ophthalmology, Graefe’s Archives of ophthalmology current journal of ophthalmology, journal of vision and research, British journal of ophthalmology.


Research Interest

Neuro ophthalmology including traumatic, ischemic and demyelinating optic neuropathies, vitreoretinal disease and surgeries.
