Ph.D. in Sociology. She is research fellow and teaching assistant, Università di Pisa. Since the 2014-2015 academic year, she is adjunct professor of Sociology and Sociology of Health in the Bachelor Degree Course in Nursing Science, Università degli Studi di Firenze. She is currently working on two main areas of research: the one is gender language and women's careers in particular in the medical profession, as aim of UE research project TRIGGER (TRansforming Institutions by Gendering contents and Gaining Equality in Research); the other is healthy and active aging, ICT and new devices.
