Dr. Sangeetha Srinivasan graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Philosophy in Optometry from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. She has made substantial contributions to patient care in Clinical Optometry and has been actively involved in research and in teaching. She completed a PhD in Optometry and Vision Science from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Her doctoral dissertation work was in retinal imaging in diabetes in association with neuropathy and retinopathy. She has presented at various national and international conferences and has published in international peer-reviewed journals. She is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in India and is actively involved in vision research. Dr. Srinivasan has several years of experience in clinical optometry, anterior and posterior segment imaging and teaching.
She is passionate about research in ophthalmic imaging in diabetes, neuropathy, retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, other retinal disorders and glaucoma.
