During my Ph. D. research work, I was engaged as a Senior Research Fellow for fulfillment of my Ph. D. degree (Ph. D. thesis title- “Profiling and prospecting of phytonic diazotrophs of selected rice (Oryza spp.) genotypes to improve biological nitrogen fixation”), at ICAR - National Rice Research Institute (Indian Council of Agriculture Research), Cuttack, Odisha, India, under joint supervision of Dr. Tushar Kanti Dangar, Principal Scientist (Microbiology), ICAR - National Rice Research Institute and Dr. Subhra Kanti Mukhopadhyay (Associate Professor), University Of Burdwan, Department of Microbiology, West Bengal, India. I have completed M.Sc. in 2011 (Microbiology) and B.Sc. in 2009 (Microbiology Hons.) from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India. Along with this, I have also qualified ICAR- National Eligibility Test (NET) Examination for Lectureship (2014), Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE- 2013. Conducted by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India,) and published 16 research papers in different journals. Currently I am working in the direction of plant microbes interaction, concentrating mainly on endophytes and epiphytes. To decode these interaction, basically I am using functional omicss, different chromatographic and live cell imaging (FRET based) techniques.
