Barjinder Pal Kaur obtained her BTech (2006) in Agricultural Engineering and MTech (2009) in Processing and Food Engineering from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. She did her doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. She joined NIFTEM in 2013 as Assistant Professor in Department of Food Engineering. She has published several research papers in international peer reviewed journals, 2 books related to drying technology, three book chapters and filed 2 patents. She is serving as an editorial board member of e-journals and reviewer of various internationally renowned journals.
Her areas of interest include novel food processing, drying technology and food packaging.
