He is received his initial public health training (BS degree), and his PhD degree of medical immunology at the Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing, China. He has been a faculty with China Agricultural University and is affiliated with State Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition, College of Animal Science and Technology. His research focus is animal nutrition requirements and metabolic modulation. Drawn by the opportunity for the harmonious integration of molecular nutrition, cell biology and microbiology, he is promoted as an Associate Professor since 2012 (China Agricultural University, China) and 2014 (University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, USA). He has more than 50 published SCI articles or reviews as first or corresponding authors. He is serving as Editor for several peer-reviewed SCI journals. He has been awarded 4 patents, The First Prize for Technology Progress of Jilin Province in China (2009), Beijing Nova program (2013) and National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class Award) in China (2015).
