With a longstanding passion for stem cell research, Dr. Mahsa Khayat-Khoei has worked on several embryonic stem cell projects from basic science to therapeutic and clinical studies. Dr. Mahsa Khayat-Khoei is currently a resident physician in the Department of Neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas, United States; and have been a research assistant at the same university.
She holds an MD, MBA degree. She graduated with Medical Doctorate degree in 2012 from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran and recently received her Masters in Business Administration in the United States.
She has been working on embryonic stem cells research since the fourth year of medical school. She attended and presented her research papers in many National and International conferences/seminars. She published several research papers in International and National journals of repute and she also holds a patent on therapeutic effects of stem cells. She is also an editor and a reviewer for several journals such as Journal of Cytology & Histology, Journal of Neurology and Neuroscience and Galen medical journal.
