Dr. Luca Peruzzotti-Jametti is a Clinical Research Associate and Wellcome Trust Fellow at the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Cambridge (UK).
After receiving his MD from the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milan (Italy) (2007), Luca started his residency in Neurology working in the Department of Neurology and in the Neuroimmunology Unit at San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan (Italy). During this period he participated in several clinical trails on ischemic stroke and focused his research on stem cell therapies. He received additional training at the University Hospital in Zurich (Switzerland), at the Institute of Anatomy, University of Aarhus (Denmark) and at the Laboratory of Stem Cells and Restorative Neurology, Lund (Sweden). After receiving his CCT in Neurology, Luca joined the Department of Clinical Neurosciences and the Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Cambridge (UK). His current focus is the application of cellular reprogramming to stem cell transplantation in neuroinflammation.
