Dr. Madjid Soltani has got his PhD in the University of Waterloo, Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology working on “Numerical analysis of drug delivery to solid tumor microvasculature” and is doing his postdoctoral studies in the University of Johns Hopkins, School of Medicine. His research focuses mainly on tumor vascularization and drug delivery to solid tumors. Further, subjects related to cancer treatment and medical imaging, are areas of his interest. It is crucial to note that there are numerous refereed publications and conference presentations done by him which represent a significant contribution to the mathematical biology of tumors, and will form the foundation for future studies.
Indeed, Dr. Madjid already has an impressive publication record, publishing more than 30 papers. He also has more than 70 conference presentations. In addition to publications and too many awards, Dr. Madjid has awarded the University's 2013 Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies Honours.
