Biography

Dr. Ahmad Mousataf is associate consultant of Neurology in Cairo University Student Hospital. Moustafa received his Bachelor's of arts degree in medicine with high honors from University of Cairo, Egypt on 2003. After graduation, he headed to the student hospital of his university to start his career in Neuropsychiatry. He had the privilege of monitoring the neurological and psychological health of more than 250.000 students of Cairo University along with his fellow colleagues and superiors. He was the earliest developer of the Neuro-Home website before it was reformulated. He had participated in the re-launch of the novel antipsychotic )Serdolect). Thanks to the well known (BEACON) trial, his elite hospital was chosen as a recognized center of Multiple Sclerosis both on national and international levels. Aother huge step in his career was when he was chosen by the well known Professor SaherHashim, head of the PAN-ARAB society of neuroscience to be his clinical assistant. He was one of the founding members of the stroke unit in the IJC award Alsalam hospital under supervision of his elite superiors. Among his co-workers he is known to be interested in clinical Neuroscience.

Starting with his first thesis (Cognitive deficits in patients with depression), till the last one (demographic risk factors in stroke patients) his publications were not numerous but still novel. He is an active corresponding member of the American academy of neurology, member of the international behavioral and neural genetics society, member of federation of European neuroscience societies, he is a licensed physician of neuropsychiatry in two Arab countries.
