Gurkishan S Chadha is an Assistant Clinical Professor, in the department of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of New England, Maine. Prior to this, He completed his PhD from SUNY Buffalo (University at Buffalo, NY) and Masters in Drug Formulation and Delivery from Auburn University, AL. He have a strong educational background and diverse research experiences in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmaceutical sciences.
During his PhD, He had researched, as well as published, in protein therapeutics in normal and type 2 diabetes mellitus. His research domain has involved using pharmacokinetic software’s (Phoenix, ADAPT, NONMEM) for creating models to analyzes the data obtained through PK studies. The projects during research involved chronic disease studies in animals, qPCR analysis, microdialysis and in-vitro cell culture work.
At UNE, He is looking to expand on my previous work, and evaluate the mechanistic changes happening due to diabetes mellitus and nephropathy, with the progression of disease.
