Dr. Ola Ibrahim El-Hamshary received her BA in Genetic during 1987, her M.S in microbial Genetic during 19992 from the University of Cairo and her Ph.D in Microbial Genetic during 2002 from the University of Cairo. She was employed from 1989 to 2010 in Microbial Genetics Department, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Division, National Research Centre Al-Behoos Street, 12622 Dokki, Cairo, Egypt, attaining the rank of Associate Professor 2009, until employment in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science Microbiology at King Abdulaziz University during 2010 until now, 2016. She Participated in several Scientific Research Projects and SUPERVISION of different Ph D and M.Sc. theses.
Over the past 25 years, she co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles on chitinase gene, biological control against plant pathogens, Fungi and nematode, bacterial phosphate solublization and protease enzyme. She has travelled extensively, participant in Scientific Missions: International Training Course, "Yeast molecular physiology", Brazil, ICGEB, 2005 Microarray.
