Dr. Sandeep Singh is a Neurobiologist with a strong background in Biochemistry and Biomedicine. he have dedicated more than 5 years to Neuroscience Research and used animal models system to investigate the therapeutic potential for Alzheimer’s disease using synthetic as well as natural compounds in drosophila model system. After obtaining my M.Sc. degree, he completed PhD form Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University; Currently He is working as Senior Research Fellow in the same department. He has been actively working in the field of Neurobiology; especially on Alzheimer’s disease for almost 5 years. His doctoral research topic was “Studies on therapeutic potential of synthetic as well as herbal compounds for Alzheimer’s disease using transgenic Drosophila model”. During my doctoral training, He learnt to design my experiments as well as got the skill for manuscript preparation and writing. He gained experience in a number of techniques including DNA isolation, RNA isolation, Agarose gel electrophoresis, PCR, RT-PCR, Western Blotting, Confocal and Fluorescence Microscopy, Immunohistochemistry, he also well versed in others techniques like single cell gel electrophoresis (comet assay), flow cytometry, Hybrid Capture Assay, COBAS AMLICOR, BACTEC- 460 TB SYSTEM, ZN Staining, Fast Plaque Assay, ELISA, etc.
