Dr. Eric E. Gabison is Professor, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, Paris VII-Diderot University School of Medicine. He is deputy director of the Ophthalmology Department at Rothschild Ophthalmic Foundation and Bichat Hospital in Paris, France. Medical student, and Ophthalmology Resident at Paris XII University, he subsequently completed a Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, USA (1999-2001) and at Rothschild Ophthalmic Foundation and Bichat Hospital in Paris, France (2003-2008). His publications include book chapters, and over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has practiced Ophthalmology in Paris for the past 13 years, during which time he has been actively training Ophthalmology residents at the Paris VII School of Medicine. His awards include: French Residency Fellowship Award 1996. Harvard Lally fellowship 2001. Dalloz Ophthalmology Research Award, From the Institut de France 2009, and the French Society of Ophthalmology Research Award 2007.
