Dr. Jozsef Racz has got his MD at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. He has worked as a Psychiatrist since 1987. He finished his Ph.D in 1994. Now, he is the Chair of Department of Addictology, Faculty of Health Sciences, Semmelweis University. He is Chair of the Psychology of Counseling, Institute of Psychology, Eotvos University, Budapest. He is the Director of the “Blue Point” Drug Counseling and Outpatient Centre (NGO) in Budapest. He served as Advisor to the government on drug policy and treatment issues. He was a contributor to the Hungarian National Drug Strategies (2000, 2013). He was the President of the Hungarian Association of Addictions and the Member of the Board of the European Federation of Addiction Societies. He was a correspondent expert to the Pompidou Group and to the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction.
