Dr Peter A. Roussos was born in Greece in 1972. He received his Msc diploma in 1995 and his PhD diploma in 2001 from Agricultural University of Athens. From 2002-2006 he worked as Deputy Director in the R&D department of Hella farm SA responsible for trials executed under GEP and GLP legislation. From 2006 he serves as teaching stuff in Agricultural University of Athens, Laboratory of Pomology (currently as Associate Professor). He has published more than 35 papers, reviewed more than 80 manuscripts in more than 20 international scientific journals and awarded as top referee for 2006 by the journal “Scientia Horticulturae”. He is the writer of three chapters in a book to be published by Elsevier Inc. He has served as reviewer of one book published by Elsevier Inc. He is member of the editorial board of five international journals. He has participated in numerous national scientific programs and served as reviewer in three international ones. He has supervised more than 40 graduate and four MSc theses as well as one PhD thesis and is the writer of two textbooks on plant propagation.
Dr Peter A. Roussos research interests are stress responses of fruit crops, in vitro and in vivo propagation of fruit crops, use of PGRs in fruit crops and cultural managements affecting fruit quality.
