Zhiqing Liang is the Director and Professor of department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Southwest Hospital, Third Military Medical University. He was graduated from the clinical Medical Department of the Third Military Medical University in 1987 and was a visiting scholar at Imperial College in 2005.
His basic research works focus on the molecular mechanism of anti-vascular research vessel ovarian cancer, especially ovarian angiogenesis and tumor heterogeneity, and ovarian cancer-specific molecular imaging of angiogenesis for the early diagnosis of ovarian cancer or for the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer after the judgment.
Currently his clinical work is focused on minimally invasive surgery treatment for gynecology oncology, and advanced cervical cancer multi-center clinical study of laparoscopic hysterectomy and abdominal lymph node dissection, also performed whole genome scan with second-generation sequencing technology, in order to obtain their OMICS characteristics of patients with cervical cancer, and develop individualized treatment programs for cervical cancer.
Currently he is a regular member of Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch and Gynecologic Oncology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of the People's Liberation Army Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also an editorial member of journal of Practical Obstetrics and Gynecology, GMIT, and World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has won eight grant of the National Natural Science Foundation, one sub-themes of the national "973" program, a total funding of about 10 million Yuan. 2006, 2012 are eligible to obtain the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award 2 (No. 2), 2010 to obtain military medical achievement award 1 (No. 1), published 52 SCI articles.
