Biography

Dr. Mahmoud Abdelhalim Salama MBBCh, MSc, MD, PhD, MA, is an Assistant Professor and consultant of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. He earned his MBBCh, MSc, MD degrees from Cairo University - Egypt. In 2008, he moved to Department of Reproductive Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology at Innsbruck Medical University-Austria. In 2012, he earned his PhD from Innsbruck Medical University in the field of fertility preservation of female cancer patients (oncofertility) particularly ovarian tissue cryopreservation and transplantation. Recently in 2014, he earned his Master of Arts in Business (MA) degree from Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) in the field of International Healthcare Management.

Dr. Mahmoud Salama has several international publications and books especially in the fields of fertility preservation of female cancer patients (Oncofertility) and Cross-Border Reproductive Care (CBRC). He is also an editorial board member and peer reviewer at several international medical journals.
