Biography

Dr. Nikhil Shantilal Dangar is an Assistant Professor of Department of Instructional Livestock Farm Complex in College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Navsari, State – Gujarat, India. He got B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree during 2010 from College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat, India, M.V.Sc. in Animal Genetics and Breeding during 2012 from College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, Gujarat, India. He had done his research work with thesis title “Genetic Analysis of Production Traits in Gir Cattle”. He has good knowledge of various statistical software to analyse breeding data as well interpret result of analysis. He worked in Sabarmati Ashram Gaushala managed by National Dairy Development Board as Veterinary officer and Calf rearing in charge as well doing over all supervision and managmental work of field progeny testing project running under National Dairy Plan phase - 1. He also have good expertise in field of animal treatment as well herd health management as he work in field veterinary officer under state government Department of Animal Husbandry. He attended many Conferences & Scientific Panel Meetings; Applied Researches in the use of sustainable rural livelihood in relation with breeding and genetic improvement. He published around 8 Articles in the fields of Veterinary science and Animal Science.
