Biography

Briefly, I describe my experience and background, in 2002 I obtained a student scholarship (Preparer) by opposition contest in the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences-Central University of Venezuela. I was graduated in 2005 as DVM, Instructor Professor of Veterinary Pathology and Assistant Professor of Veterinary Pathology with teaching, diagnostic and research activities in veterinary pathology (2006-2012) Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Central University of Venezuela. I was a Veterinary Pathologist Resident at RaceTrack La Rinconada Caracas-Venezuela 2008-2012. In 2012-2013 Master in Medicine, Health and Animal Improvement at Veterinary Faculty, University of Cordoba Spain. I was Honorary Collaborator of the Department of Anatomy and Pathological Anatomy, Instructor of necropsy comparative and Guest Professor of Macropathology Master Programs Faculty of Veterinary, University of Cordoba, Spain, 2012 -2016. In 2014 Professional Practices in the Animal Pathology Service University of Sao Paulo April 2014 at Department of Pathology School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2017-2018 Guest Professor and Veterinary Pathologist of the Department of Pathology, National Institute of Hygiene Rafael Rangel, Caracas-Venezuela. I was a founder of the Diploma of Veterinary Pathology in Experimental Animals in Venezuela in 2017, oriented to the need for training of veterinary pathologists in my country Venezuela. I was Guest Professor Network Learning in Health, Node Venezuela, Pan American Health Organization, 2018. In 2018-2020 Veterinarian General and Veterinary Pathologist in SHS Veterinary Center, Al Wathba-Abu Dhabi, UAE, includes Kuwait and Oman. I have recently signed a contract at AlShula Veterinary Pharmacy for Veterinary Service to develop the area of veterinary pathology specifically necropsy and histopathological diagnosis in Doha, Qatar. In my career, I have written more than 200 articles about veterinary pathology in national and international journals and presentation of more than 150 papers/posters at national and international conferences and 4 digital atlas of veterinary pathology.


Research Interest

Dr. Abelardo Morales's research interests include Veterinary pathology comparative, equine veterinary pathology. Toxicology pathology in horse racing.
