Dr. Fidel Ovidio Castro Reboredo is an Associated Professor and Director of the Ph.D program in Veterinary Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Universidad de Concepcion, Chile. He is a Graduate in Zootechnical Engineer from Belarus State Agricultural Academy (Gorki, Belarus, former Soviet Union) 1984. He did Master’s in Agricultural Science (same Academy, 1986) and Ph.D from University of Havana, Cuba, 1993. He was a senior Professor for Faculty of Biology, University of Havana, Cuba, 2003-2004 and senior Researcher in Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Havana, Cuba, 2001-2004. He served as Head of the Division of Animal Biotechnology, Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Havana, Cuba, 1999-2004. He was an Associated Professor in the doctoral and master programs of Biological Sciences and Agricultural Sciences, The University of Concepcion, Chile. From 2005 until present, he is an Adjunct Associated Professor, Department of Molecular Biomedical Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine and in North Carolina State University since 2008 until present.
