Dr. Mamoon Rashid is currently working as Research Assistant Professor in Appalachian College of Pharmacy, Virginia, USA. After his Diploma in Information Technology (India, 2002) he obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Dhaka (Bangladesh, 2004). He majored Pharmaceutics in M.S from same university (2005) where his projects were focused on developing formulation with hydrophilic matrices. He earned his Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Texas Tech University HSC (USA, 2013). As a part of his academic responsibility he teaches in the course of Pharmaceutics and supervises six Doctor of Pharmacy students. His current research projects include transdermal drug delivery, pain medication and development of analytical method for products compounded in community pharmacies.
