Soodabeh Saeidnia received Pharm.D from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (1997) and Ph.D of Pharmacognosy from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in 2002. She was Visiting Researcher at Kyoto University, Japan (2002-2003) and awarded Kyoto University Foreign Researcher Fellowship to work as a Research Associate at Kyoto University (2005-2006). Furthermore, she was Visiting Professor in Saskatchewan University (2013-2014) joined to the cancer research group in college of Pharmacy and Nutrition. Now she is Associate Professor of Pharmacognosy in Medicinal Plants Research Center, TUMS. She has written about 119 papers and books. She is a member of Iranian Society of Pharmacognosy, editorial board member in a number of international journals, reviewer of pharmacognosy related journals, and highly interested in pharmacologically active natural compounds.
