Professor Duc P. Do is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chicago State University College of Pharmacy (CSU-COP). Prior to joining CSU-COP, he was an Assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), School of Pharmacy. He received awards in recognition of his teaching, research and service.
He received his B.S. from the University of Georgia and Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mercer University College of Pharmacy. His research interests are in the areas of Cancer epigenetics, Drug delivery systems, Dosage form formulation and Microencapsulation technology. He has over 60 publications and presentations. Currently, he serves as a copy editor for European Journal of Chemistry, a member of the editorial board for eleven journals and a reviewer for several scientific journals. With regard to teaching, he has taught advanced drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical dosage forms, pharmaceutical compounding and pharmacokinetics. He is a member of several scientific and professional organizations, including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).
