Dr. Wang Yan obtained her Bachelor Degree in Medicine (MD) in 1990 and achieved the Degree of Doctor Diploma in Medicine (Ph.D) in 1998 of Shanghai. She began her clinical practice in China since 1990, its major in Pediatrics, Pulmonary and Emergency Medicine. In 2000, she began her medicine career in the United States of America, originally, she have been employed at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and since then she experienced in working at the University of Pennsylvania and Imperial College London recently.
She has made in basic and clinical study over 20 years, with projects including in the studies of pulmonary and cardiovascular biology, diseases models, cell appotosis, gene transfection, clinical trial and regeneration therapy investigation. She has given general or oral presentations at the Conferences of Experimental Biology in America, American Thoracic Society. She published about 30 articles in peer- reviewed journals as The Journal of Cellular Biochemistry; The American Journal of Physiology, Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology; The Journal of Antioxidants & Redox signaling.
During her medicine practice since 1985, she has experienced the titles as a trainer, Resident Doctor, Attending Doctor, Research Associate, Pediatrics Professor, Journal Editorial Board, Dean Chief Assistant and Pharmacological Engineer. She have accumulated extensive knowledge, experience and strength in the fields of her study, and the advanced contribution on medicine with her coworker would make a truly effective and international impact on Medicine.
