Dr. Yasuo Kojima completed his first degree in wood science and technology at Hokkaido University in 1974. In 1980, he completed Ph.D in pulp and paper science at Hokkaido University. During 1980-2007 he worked as Assistant Professor and Associated Professor at Department of Agriculture, Hokkaido University. During 1987-1988 he worked as a Post-Doctoral fellow at State University of New York, Syracuse College. In 2008 he became Full professor at Department of Agriculture, Niigata University, Japan.
