Dr. Ioannis Arkadianos graduated from Athens University, Medical School and was certified in General Medicine with extra Post Graduate studies in Nutrition, Obesity and Nutrigenomics. He is certified from World Obesity Federation (WOF) as SCOPE Certified (Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education). He is the co-founder and Vice President at ELMO "European Lifestyle Medicine Organization". He is active member of the Hellenic Medical Association for the study of Obesity, European Association for the study of Obesity, American Society for Nutrition, International Society of Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics, European Lifestyle Medicine Organization, Canadian Obesity Network and Australian Lifestyle Medicine Association. His 3 years pioneer clinical study was published in Nutrition Journal 18/10/2007 with title: “Improved weight management using genetic information to personalize a calorie controlled diet”. He was involved in Scientific and Medical consultant for the project “Eurogene” (2008-2009), a European Community Project. He is involved in participation with posters from his clinical experience in the 5thInternational Conference on Nutrition and Fitness (2004 Athens Greece), in 14th European Congress on Obesity (Athens 2005), in 15th European Congress on Obesity (Budapest Hungary 2007) and in the 16thEuropean Congress on Obesity (Geneva Switzerland 2008), participation with Papers and Announcements in other 4 National and 6 International Congresses – announcements in the 5 of these.
