Biography

Dr. Jose Maria Montiel is a Psychologist, Specialist in Diagnostic and Triage, Master and Doctor in Psychological Assessment in Mental Health context by Sao Francisco University. He is involved in Development of assessment and intervention procedures. He is a Researcher collaborator for Psychodiagnosis Laboratory and Cognitive Neuroscience (LaPENC)-Unisal-American and also a Senior Researcher at Assessment and Research Laboratory of Mental Health and Personality (LabSAMP)-Federal University of Goias-UFG-School of Education. He is an Associate member of the ABECiPsi-Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors of Psychology. He is currently a teacher with full and exclusive dedication of the Graduate Program stricto sensu-Educational Psychology at the University Center FIEO - UNIFIEO/SP-Foundation Teaching Institute for Osasco. He is currently a member of the Brazilian Scientific Society of Sports Psychology Commission (SOBRAPE) and the International Scientific Psychology Network (ISPN) and the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors in Psychology (ABECIPSI). He is a GT coordinator "Human Learning" at the National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Psychology (ANPEPP) and also a Center Coordinator for Health Research and Human Performance (NupesDH).


Research Interest

Psychology; Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology, mainly in the topics: aging, psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment with emphasis on neurological disorders, development of instruments to psychological assessment and neuropsychological and interventions.
