Dr. Joy Ghosh currently leads the Molecular Sciences Research and Product Development division at Ferm Solutions in Danville KY, USA with an extensive background in Molecular biology, Cell biology and Industrial microbiology. Along with his team, he is developing genetically modified yeast strains for enhanced fuel ethanol production. Prior to joining in Ferm Solutions, he honed his expertise and experience in both academia and industry, and after receiving his Ph.D in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Kentucky in 2007, held positions at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Tribo Flow Separations, LLC and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He has numerous publications in well-reputed International peer reviewed scientific journals, as well as served as a speaker at several International scientific conference/ Symposiums. Additionally, he has won several prestigious awards for his scholarly contributions in the field. He is serving as a Reviewer as well as Editorial board member of many scientific journals of high repute.
