Professor G Anita Heeren is presently working as Adjunct Professor & Lecturer for Master Students teaching Research Methodology at Saint’s Joseph’s University, Philadelphia. She worked as Supervisor of Ph.D students at University of Fort Hare, Alice, and at KwaZulu Natal University, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and as Senior Research Associate (2004–2012) for Annenberg Public Policy Center, Center for Health Behavior and Communication Research, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She obtained her Ph.D in 2002 from University of Fort Hare, Alice, South Africa; M.Sc in 1994 from London School of Hygiene, London University, London, UK and MD in 1984 from School of Medicine, The Ruprecht-Karls-Universitat Heidelberg, Germany. She has published many peer reviewed articles in national and international journals and she is the author of the Book namely Applied Research Methodology in Sub-Saharan Africa published by Lampert Academic Publishing in 2012.
