Vasileios Margaritis holds a Ph.D (2010), a M.Sc (2006) in Community Dentistry, and a Bachelor degree in Dentistry (1999) from the Dental School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has also attended short courses concerning Epidemiology and Qualitative Research at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and at University of Oxford, respectively. He began as a part-time faculty member at Walden University in the School of Health Sciences, Ph.D in Public Health Program, April 2012. He also works as Associate Lecturer and Researcher at Dental School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since 2006. He teaches Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Community and Preventive Dentistry. He also has a track record of relevant international and national publications. Dr. Margaritis has worked as a researcher in community-based research settings in a variety of areas including oral epidemiology and intellectually disabled persons and has served as methodology/statistics expert in many of those projects.
