Biography

Dr. Mahmoud Mostafa Mahmoud Mohamed is a Professor of Fish Diseases and Management, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt. He is a Graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt (1993). He did a Master’s in Veterinary Medicine, Fish Diseases (same University, 1999) and Ph. D from Hiroshima University, Japan (2008). He was an assistant Professor for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt (2008-2013) and an Associate Professor at the same university (2014-2018). He served and still serving as a Professor of Fish Diseases and Management at the same university (2019-now).


Research Interest

Dr. Mahmoud Mostafa Mahmoud Mohamed's research interests are Molecular characterization of fish pathogens, Fish immunology, Microbial pathogenesis of fish pathogens, Bacteriophages of fish pathogens, and Parasites of Aquatic organisms. Microbial and parasitic diseases of Crustacea.
