Dr. Ramya B is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology and currently working as Incharge of the Diagnostic Laboratory in the Veterinary Clinical Complex. She graduated with BVSc and AH from Sri Venkateshwara Veterinary University, Andhrapradesh, in 2009. She did her Master's in Veterinary Pathology from the same University in 2011 and her Ph.D. from PV Narsimha Rao Veterinary University, Telangana, in 2016. She worked as Assistant Professor from 2013-2015 in CVSc., Korutla, Karimnagar District, Telangana. She worked in RUSKA LAB for Electron microscopy for six months in 2016. From 2017 to till date she is looking after the duties of a pathologist, Microbiologist, and Biochemist in the College Diagnostic Laboratory. She processed and analyzed thousands of samples from different species of animals like Canines. Feline, Ovine, Bovine, Porcine, and laboratory animals. Till now she guided 6 postgraduate students from the Department of Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Pharmacology. Now 3 students are in the process of submission of their thesis under her guidance. She was awarded gold medals in her MVSc and in IAVA National Conference for best paper presentation.

Dr. Ramya B's research interests are Oncology research and diagnosis, new methodologies and techniques in diagnosing various fluids and other samples, Toxicopathology related research, Histopathology and Biopsy, Electron microscopy studies, and Molecular pathology-related research.
