Dr. Bhagyashri Burgute completed her Ph.D from University of Cologne, Germany. During 12 years of scientific career, Dr. Burgute gained in depth expertise in iPSC disease models, lentivirus production, CRISPR/Cas9, RNA biology, protein biochemistry, molecular and cell biology. Dr. Burgute extensively worked on Alzheimer’s iPSC disease models, therapeutic mRNA characterization using advanced techniques like in vitro transcription (mRNA IVT), in vitro and in vivo translation, electrophoretic TLC, codon optimization, mRNA kinetics, stability, expression and fidelity, immunogenicity using modified nucleobases (uridine, pseudouridine, and N1-methyl-pseudouridine, 5-Bromo uridine), qPCR, ELISA, protein-protein interaction studies (immunoprecipitation and pull down), RNA-protein interaction (CLIP-seq), DNA-protein interaction (ChIPseq), Ribo-seq and library preparation, and advanced imaging techniques.
