Ishaan Vohra is a Gastroenterology fellow at the University of Illinois, Peoria, USA. He obtained an MBBS degree from King George’s Medical University, India. After his MBBS he was a postdoc research fellow at Transplant Research Centre in Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical school. He earned an MD degree from Cook County Hospital, Chicago, USA. His work has been cited over 1300 times, published more than 50 articles, and has peer-reviewed more than 20 papers. He also serves as Editorial Board Member in BMC gastroenterology. He has been a judge in the American Medical Association research challenge and has presented over 100 posters at national and international conferences. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy(ASGE) and the American College of Gastroenterology(ACG). His expertise is in general gastroenterology with a procedural skillset in upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, video capsule study, ambulatory pH monitoring, and oesophageal manometry.

His present study focuses on interventional gastroenterology procedures such as Endoscopic Sleeve gastroplasty, third space endoscopy, and Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection
