Dr. S.Vamshi Krishna completed his graduation from the College of Veterinary Science, Hyderabad in 2010. Secured four gold medals in B.V.Sc. & AH. Did his master's (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Microbiology from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur, Kerala, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in 2012 and Ph.D. in Veterinary Bacteriology from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izzatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh in 2018. Awarded with Inspire fellowship for pursuing a Ph.D. in IVRI. Joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, College of Veterinary Science, Korutla, Karimnagar, Telangana in the year 2013. Presently working as Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, College of Veterinary Science, Warangal, Telangana, India. Awarded with Early career research award (ECR) from the DST-SERB, Government of India in the year 2019.

Dr. S.Vamshi Krishna's research interests are Isolation and identification of the etiological agents associated with infectious diseases in animals. Development of diagnostic tests for infectious diseases and vaccines for the prevention and control of infectious diseases in animals.
