Dr. Pabbathi Shivakumar is an Assistant Professor (Sr. scale) of Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology at PV Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Veterinary Science& Animal Husbandry from the College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad (2003-2008). He did a Master’s in Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology (same Academy, 2010) and Ph. D. from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University. He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology in various capacities. He has around 10 years of teaching experience in teaching undergraduate and Postgraduate students. He has published more than 40 research papers in various National & International journals. He is the recipient of the DST- INSPIRE fellowship during his Ph.D. He has been serving as a reviewer and editorial board member of various journals of international repute. So far, he has guided 6 MVSc students in various capacities.

Dr. Pabbathi Shivakumar's research interests are Pharmacology, Toxicology, Herbal drugs, Natural anti-oxidants, Laboratory Animal Science, and Animal Welfare.
