Dr. C.Lalmuanthanga is an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale), Department of Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology, College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Central Agricultural University, Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram, India. He graduated (BVSc & AH degree program) from the College of Veterinary Science, Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, Maharashtra, India in the year 2000. He was awarded a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of the Indian Council of Research (ICAR) through an open competitive exam for postgraduate courses. He obtained his Postgraduate Degree (MVSc in Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology) from Bombay Veterinary College in the year 2003. He qualified National Eligibility Test (NET), and ICAR in the year 2003. He joined the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Mizoram as Assistant Director/Core Faculty (Vety) in 2003 prior to joining his present post. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University in 2019.

Dr. C.Lalmuanthanga's research interests are Herbal medicines, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and antimicrobial and pesticide residue analysis.
