Biography

Dr. Ali Doğan Ömür is assoc. professor since 2018 at Ataturk University Veterinary Faculty. He received his Ph.D. degree (In reproduction and Artificial Insemination) in 2011 (Selcuk University). He attended several National/International conferences and international programs. He was involved in national and international research on animal reproduction. His research focuses on freezing sperm in farm animals and investigating the effectiveness of antioxidants on reproductive parameters in laboratory animals. He is also interested in the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of fertilization and sperm cell energy metabolism. Besides, he is a Ph.D. student of Biochemistry and an undergraduate student of Molecular biology and genetics, at Atatürk University. He has awards from international organizations in his field.


Research Interest

Dr. Ali Doğan Ömür's research interests are Cryobiology; Reproduction in domestic animals; sperm energy mechanism.
