Dr. Maria Luigia Pallotta is Principal Investigator in Biochemistry‘s Lab in the Department of Medicine and Health Sciences and Aggregate prof in Biochemistry. She is RMS Fellow, has AAAS membership, and has Membership in SIB (Italian Society of Biochemistry) and the Italian Group of Bioenergetics and Biomembranes (since 1999). She was a member of the Academic Senate at Molise University for about 8 years, at the Ph.D. council in Applied Biochemistry and Chemistry, University of Molise (from 2003 to 2005) and in Health Science (since 2005). She taught different subjects including Propedeutics, Applied Biochemistry, Amino Acid, and Nucleotide metabolism, Biochemistry, and Nutritional Biochemistry. She was visiting Researcher at Metabolism and Cancer susceptibility, Center for Cancer Research, NIH, MD United States 2014. Moreover, she has extensive knowledge and expertise in mitochondrial biochemistry/bioenergetics and Spectrofluorimetric techniques & technologies for basic science and clinically oriented studies.
