Dr. Md. Nurunnabi is a Research Fellow in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Korea National University of Transportation (KNUT). Prior to joining as at KNUT, he was serving as a Research Scholar in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at University of Utah. He has completed undergraduate (Bachelor) in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) in 2007, from University of Development Alternative (UODA), Dhaka, Bangladesh. During undergraduate, he was worked under Prof. MSK Choudhuri's lab (Pharmacology Lab) at Jahangirnagar University. After graduation from UODA, he was appointed for teaching at the same department and continued until February 2008. He got admission in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering for pursuing Masters at KNUT (then Chungju National University) in 2008 with full funded scholarship and graduated in January 2010. In 2010, he got admission for Ph.D in the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering. At the same year, he was appointed in a Fine Chemical Manufacturing Company (Chunbo Co., Ltd) as a R&D researcher. Since then his Ph.D thesis and company job was continued simultaneously till January 2012. He moved to KB BioMed Inc. (newly founded start-up company) as a Chief Scientist in February 2012. His both masters and PhDs’ thesis was supervised by Prof Yong-kyu Lee. He received an Award for Ph.D in 2014, majoring in Polymer Science & Engineering from Korea National University of Transportation.
