Dr. Ali AYDIN is a Full Professor, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, TURKIYE. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Istanbul University 1996. He did Ph. D from Istanbul University, Istanbul, in 2001. He was Associate Professor for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Istanbul University, Istanbul 2007-2013. He was Post Doc. in Faculty of Meat Science, University of Vienna (Austria) 2007 and Center for Food Safety, University of Georgia (USA) 2009-2010. He is a member Turkish Science of Academy since 2013. He was a Full Professor in the doctoral and master's programs of Food Hygiene and Technology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Istanbul. Prof. Dr. Ali AYDIN administratively; He worked as a Project and Technology Office Manager at the University of Turkey, a member of the Risk Assessment Commission of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Turkiye, and an external observer in the EFSA Biological Hazards group.
Dr. Ali AYDIN's research interests are Food hygiene, food safety, food biotechnology determination and molecular characterization of virulence properties of foodborne pathogenic microorganisms, investigation of resistance mechanisms (antibiotic, heavy metal, disinfectant, etc.) in foodborne pathogenic microorganisms.
