Biography

Dr. Mehri Rezaie is an MS in Midwifery that was in the Department of Midwifery and Nursing at the University medical science of Saveh. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in midwifery at Shiraz University of medical science in Iran, a Master of Science at Isfahan University of medical science, Iran. She has twice been selected as a model midwife. She has been in charge of midwifery for 15 years. She has also been a member of the Committee for the Study of Maternal Mortality and Morbidity for 15 years and 10 years on a Neonatal Survey Committee. For 13 years she has been a lecturer in childbirth preparation classes and a university lecturer in physiological childbirth. She has been working for 5 years as the chief national evaluator of the country's hospital accreditation. She has worked for 5 years as a child mortality assessor and breastfeeding promotion committee. She has also worked as a university lecturer in neonatal resuscitation for 5 years She has been in charge of the university's operational plan for 3 years and has been the advisor to the university president on operational plan affairs for 2 years. In connection with the mentioned activities, she has some letters of appreciation from the Minister of Health and university officials.


Research Interest

Dr. Mehri Rezaie is interested in studying the fields of management of pain during labor, Non-pharmacological methods of reducing labor pain, and study of vaginal delivery and cesarean section. Her present research focuses on searching for the effect of B massage and Entonox gas on labor pain.
