I, Dr. Saumya Pandey (M.Sc. My areas of clinical research interests span from Molecular Medicine, Immunobiology of Human Diseases, Electrophysiology, Neurodegenerative Diseases, Allergic Airway Inflammation/Asthma, Cardiovascular Diseases: Atherosclerosis/Neointima-Hyperplasia/Restenosis, Oncology: HPV-mediated Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer, Colorectal and Hepatocellular Carcinomas, Prostate Cancer and Glioblastoma, Oncofertility and Health Disparities/Epidemiology, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Gynecologic Endocrinology, Reproductive Medicine: Female/Male Infertility and Urology/Sexual Medicine. I have successfully presented my innovative biomedical and public health research at the prestigious Keystone Symposia, Silverthorne, Colorado, USA, and American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Washington D.C./Birmingham, Alabama, USA scientific sessions during the current Covid-19/Omicron global pandemic. I have previously served as Faculty-Research/Science-Technology at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, India, and recently completed my assignment as Head-Clinical Research at a reputed India-based Fertility Hospital; with my inherent interest in impactful clinical/scientific research, teaching, mentoring, publishing and reviewing, I strongly believe in target-driven pragmatic scientific goals for achieving highest level(s) of academic excellence and eventual enriching scientific publishing experience for elegantly disseminating innovative clinical medicine and scientific concepts on a global platform.
Dr. Saumya Pandey's research interests are Clinical Research and Public Health primarily Biochemical/Metabolic Signal Transduction Pathways in the Pathophysiology of Human Diseases with emphasis on Toll-like Receptors and Autophagy signaling intersections in the immunobiology of Neurological Diseases, Carcinomas, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Allergic Airway Diseases/Asthma in the current global Covid-19/Omicron pandemic era for cost-effective design/development of immunotherapeutic interventions and risk-stratification strategies for early identification of susceptible cohorts of varying genetic landscapes and lifestyles by designing pharmacological scaffolds, drugs and predictive biomarkers coupled with precision-based high-throughput immunodiagnostic modalities and transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics. My area(s) of special interest focus on neurodegenerative diseases and neuro-immune intersections, electrophysiology: Calcium-activated Potassium/Chloride Channels neurophysiology/pharmacology, and neurotoxicology in complex neuronal diseases including Schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s Disease, Glioblastoma as well as Gamma-knife Neuro-radiosurgery for the eventual design of innovative neurotherapeutics.
